Arise! The Project

"Arise! - Journey of Resilience" is a powerful musical odyssey that celebrates the human spirit’s capacity to overcome adversity. This debut album, a project by composer, vocalist, and Oud player Nawras Altaky and his international septet, offers a unique artistic voice that builds bridges between cultures.

Altaky’s compositional style is an innovative blend of traditional Arabic maqam, contemporary classical techniques, and jazz harmonies. His music speaks directly to the heart, exploring themes of displacement, hope, and the healing power of human connection. Through his own personal life stories, Altaky creates new, adventurous compositions that serve as an ode to "survivors of the world" and "dreamers" who never give up on creating beauty from chaos.
